This week saw the sneak peek release of Drupal 10.0.0-alpha1 for all to install, prod and poke, and generally give it a bit of a clicking and feedback.

The main purpose of the alpha release is for module or theme authors to begin testing whether their code is compatible. Something that frustrates developers working on upgrades is modules simply lacking the version compatibility number in the info file!

But there’s nothing stopping you from being nosey and installing it to check out the user interface and administration experience when evaluating Drupal 10.

You can find the download at https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/releases/10.0.0-alpha1 if you have some spare time on the weekend 🥳

⚠️ Keep in mind that any Drupal 10 alpha release should not be used in production!
