The first Drupalcamp UK was held over the weekend at the BBC Backstage in Manchester. It was a great success with a large number of visitors showing up for both days. Congratulations to Dan Smith for pulling the event together and keeping it going over the weekend.

It was great to put faces to names, and chat with developers from across the country.

Our Drupalicon stress balls went down well, even spawning a Drupalicon tracking map to see how far they have travelled! If you took one home be sure to upload a photo to flickr.com - tag it with drupaluktrack and attach it to the map.

Photos have been popping up on Flickr.com from the weekends activities tagged with #drupalcampuk

There's already talks about the next Drupalcamp UK event, possibly even in 2009! Looking forward to the next one, when ever it is. Until then there's Drupalcon Paris 2009 in September.
