We are delighted to announce that we have recently secured another major public sector contract via the government’s G-Cloud procurement framework.
Ixis have been appointed to provide managed hosting and support services to health and care watchdog the Care Quality Commission. This involves migrating 2 sites, www.cqc.org.uk and www.healthwatch.co.uk to our infrastructure and an ongoing maintenance and support contract post launch.
We are on the G-Cloud framework as an accredited supplier for Drupal development, support and hosting and have been added to the CloudStore database, which allows public sector procurement managers to search for relevant suppliers against specific criteria.
The framework is supporting the digital strategy to introduce cloud-based services into central government, local authorities and the wider public sector.
We are uniquely positioned to support government organisations as they improve their digital services in line with the Government Digital Strategy, and prepare for the Cabinet Office 'Digital by default' service standard for all digital services, due to be launched in spring 2013.
This contract is key to our strategy to deliver digital services to the public sector and this latest contract demonstrates the trust in our ability to provide agile, iterative, digital development methodologies and the security of our robust hosting platforms.
