Meet Drew, Digital Marketer here at Ixis
Joining the team in October 2017 as an apprentice, Drew fitted into the team as though he had been here for years. Based in our Manchester space, Drew's role involves running our social media accounts, writing blog posts and numerous other marketing activities.
Growing up in Rochdale, Drew got 3 A-levels from Holy Cross college back in 2014 after which he decided to go to University to study Journalism, unfortunately, this did not work out and he left University deciding to work a number of part-time jobs and travel around Europe with his friends. In 2017, Drew chose to pursue an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing as he wanted to get back into education but knew University wasn't the path for him. It was this decision that led him to finding Ixis and he hasn't looked back since.
Following a career path he had limited experience in has certainly proved a challenge, however, it is a challenge he has attacked head on. Learning a number of new skills in a relatively short period of time, Drew has developed rapidly proving competent in a number of different areas in the Digital Marketing profession.
Outside of work, Drew is an amateur comedian, he has performed in venue's such as the Comedy Store in Manchester and the Frog and Bucket. Beyond comedy, a lot of his spare time is occupied by his 5 year old son, whose antic's make up a large part of his comedy material. Drew is also a big fan of his sport, particularly Football and Rugby League, spending most of his weekends watching his local football team Rochdale up and down the country.
